Answers mid-treatment
Mid-cut, mid-colour, hands full — phoneless takes the call and books the time. The customer isn't lost to the next salon.
The appointment booked in the call
The caller names the service in their own words. The receptionist reads it back the way it reads on your own list, has it confirmed and books the time.
Open when your customers call
The salon is locked. The phone rings. phoneless answers around the clock, and the time is booked before the call ends.
The price and the time
It reads the price from your list and books the time.
If the cut is on your price list, the receptionist reads the price from the list. It books the time while the caller is on the line. Colour corrections, extensions and big changes have no price until someone has seen the hair. The receptionist says so, and offers the consultation you've set up, or a time. If a caller asks about drop-in or opening hours, it answers from what you've published. The stylist they ask for goes into the booking, exactly as they said it.
It never decides which treatment a caller needs, and it never promises a result on your behalf. It puts no price on work the salon has to see first. It says the price comes when you see the hair, and books the time.

Questions from salons
Can it give prices?
It reads the price of what the caller asks about, exactly as your published list states it. A cut has a price, and the receptionist says it. Colour corrections and big changes are priced after a look at the hair. It says so for those, and offers your consultation or a time.
Can callers book a specific stylist?
Yes. The name they say goes into the booking exactly as they said it. The time the receptionist offers is the salon's own. It never makes a claim about who is free. You put the booking in the right chair.
What about colour allergies?
If the call is about colour, highlights or lashes and brows, the receptionist asks one question about allergies and previous reactions. It writes the answer down in the caller's own words. It never clears a treatment, and it never warns against one either. It books the time as it would any other.
What about cancellations and changes?
It takes the cancellation or the change when it comes, evening or weekend, and registers the moment it arrived. You decide whether it beat your notice period, and what a missed appointment costs. The receptionist doesn't work that out, and it never says anything is cancelled.
Does it answer after closing?
Yes, around the clock. If someone calls when the salon is locked, the appointment is booked there and then. It answers questions about drop-in and opening hours the way you've published them.
